Tribini
Capital Limited's primary business is to create and facilitate
investments in ships and shipping related products. Since its
foundation in 2004, Tribini has been involved in many successful
shipping investments, arranging over US$250 million worth of shipping
contracts and investments.
Most
recently Tribini built and took delivery of two 2754teu newbuildings
from highly reputable Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding. The ships are
state of the art wide-beam eco-ships with a unique stability catering
for the increasing demand for fuel-efficient low-cost transportation.
The ships have been employed under medium-term contracts to
MCC/Maersk.
Tribini
previously acquired 3 second-hand handysize containerships with an
aggregate market value of US$25 million, roughly equivalent to the
price of one such ship in 2011. The sellers were either distressed or
already insolvent owners. The vessels were employed throughout our
ownership with blue-chip liner operators, such as Maersk, CMA-CGM,
Hapag-Lloyd, MSC and PIL, and were subsequently sold in 2016.
Tribini
is led by its founder Thomas Söderberg who has extensive shipping
and general management experience in the industry including the
commercial management of ships, investment management, fund raising
and deal making. Thomas is joined by Christoph de Buys Roessingh
whose involvement in ship finance since the mid-nineties combined
with his experience in principal investment, restructurings and
work-outs in the maritime industry provides a strong financial
backbone of the company. Alongside them, Henrik Nielsen offers a
wealth of experience from his previous angel investments and start-up
ventures blended with his plus 25-years career in the container
industry.
Tribini
will be launching investment vehicles in the shipping markets as and
when the management determines the product and timing it right.
Investors
who are interested in exploring opportunities to invest in shipping
are encouraged to contact Tribini for additional information.
